About Lotto

Always read entire post please. Hi! I'm Lotto, a ~1yr old boy who weighs 70lbs. I am looking for that special someone who can give a special boy like me a home. I am a social butterfly, loving every person I meet. My go to move is to introduce myself with a leg lean, then I will try to wiggle my way into your lap. I am visually impaired, with partial loss of vision in both of my eyes. I can still get around okay, but sometimes I take my time or bunker down, instead of running full force. Currently in a loving foster home - Lotto has been playing with his foster brother very nicely; he has excellent house and potty manners. His foster mom reports that he seems like a different dog now that he is away from the shelter environment. If you have another dogs- a meet and greet is encouraged. Please arrange with the shelter if you would like to meet Lotto so arrangements can be made with his foster mom. If you are replying to a post on a rescue site- Please tell us about your family, activities, other animals and your expectations of your pet and what they can expect from you and the city in which you live. You are encouraged to make every effort to visit the shelter for a meet and greet. Staff available to assist. You can walk on the trails and interact in the play yards. Unless otherwise noted, we can not say if a dog does well with cats, livestock or chickens or with the dogs you may already have in your home or at dog parks. So please, if you have a dog, please arrange to bring for a meet and greet. Current vaccinations, spayed or neutered and micro chipped. Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter 1420 Brookside Blvd. Grants Pass, across from the Grants Pass Airport. You are encouraged to call the shelter at 541 474-5458.
