About HIlda

Hilda is one of four kittens we rescued from a light industrial park in October. She is the most docile of her siblings (Salem, Zelda and Tabitha). Hilda does love to play and explore with Zelda and Salem, but also likes having solitude by sleeping in one of the cubies we have out. She will tolerate a light pet on the cheek, but not being picked up. I think Hilda would make a nice house cat if adopted on her own, but if she was adopted with her sibling Tabitha I think the two would make nice house cat companions together. They both need a quiet, calm home with someone very patient to allow them to get more comfortable with people. Hilda, her momma Samantha and her siblings are litter box trained. They are playful, but only use the scratching post for their claws! Covid 19 Upadate: Since working from home since 3-15-202 I set up my office in the bedroom where the cats hang out. They have all made progress in getting more comfortable around people. We have also started to integrate them into the household allowing them to roam the house freely with our 15 year old cat and 10 year old 80 lb dog. They are learning to co-habitate. Hilda is still stand off-ish and not thrilled with being petted she will tolerate a quick pet on the cheek.
