About April

MMEET April (ALL PUNS INTENTIONAL) When it rains it pours in rescue. We all know that Spring is normally what we call puppy dump season where the Christmas puppies flood the shelters. Well it sure started early this year. So before the April Showers can bring the May flowers, we are being drowned in puppies. Last week the Davidson County Animal Shelter called us with a 911. Four females that are 4 months old were surrendered to the shelter. Meet April, May, Flower and Rain (other posts coming soon) April is a beautiful black and tan GSD mix that is beyond sweet. She is a typical puppy, full of energy with lots of love to give. April is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and on flea/tick/heartworm preventions.
