Always read entire post please. Meet Odie Hey there, I'm Odie. I'm a 7 year old male who weighs 70lbs. I am a LOVER. I love to be loved and get your affection. I am a social boy, who is very social with new people. I have lived with children, too. I am a bit active when you first meet me--sometimes I like to get your attention, but I am working on not jumping up. I settle down very quickly. I am quiet and polite in my kennel, I have nice potty manners, and I meets new dogs politely. I prefer female dogs, though, and would like a home without male dogs. If you are replying to a post on a rescue site- Please tell us about your family, activities, other animals and your expectations of your pet and what they can expect from you and the city in which you live. You are encouraged to make every effort to visit the shelter for a meet and greet. Staff available to assist. You can walk on the trails and interact in the play yards. Unless otherwise noted, we can not say if a dog does well with cats, livestock or chickens or with the dogs you may already have in your home or at dog parks. So please, if you have a dog, please arrange to bring for a meet and greet. Current vaccinations, spayed or neutered and micro chipped. Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter 1420 Brookside Blvd. Grants Pass, across from the Grants Pass Airport. You are encouraged to call the shelter at 541 474-5458.
