Baloo is a ball of energy with fur like velvet! He really craves attention. Pet me, love me, hey human it's been 10 seconds since you last pet me! He was intrigued with my cats at first, but it didn't take that much of corrections for him to leave them alone. He's chill with them now! He's become a more confident boy and with shyness being gone, it gave space to his energy and goofiness to flourish! Baloo is plugged on 220 volts 24/7. After decompressing, he's become racy and energetic, he's solid and jacked like a CrossFit dude, and can jump higher than my height (I'm 5'9'). He's the kind of dog that you can take on hikes, run a 5k run, play like crazy in the backyard, lounge at a dog friendly restaurant and repeat! I'm yet to see this boy exhausted! His nylabones and bouncy balls are his absolute favorite! He is still a lovable ball of fur and loves his belly rubs and does the craziest flips on the couch. He is great with the cats and has earned our trust to be around our resident dogs, but he can be dog selective. This is something that has been addressed and needs to be worked on continuously post adoption. Slow and on the leash intros are highly advised. Baloo does well with confident not snappy dogs, and you can easily read his body language to id if he's not having it. He has been crated in a wire crate after using the airline crate for only a week, we gave him a second chance and he has not broken out of the crate ever since! Baloo is house broken and hasn't had any accidents inside! He's always crated when unattended so we don't know how he'd do if left roaming free while alone. We are still working on his manners, and basic training. So far Baloo has learned to wait on command, and we are perfecting 'gentle', 'crate', 'sit', 'place', 'stay', 'let's go' and 'stop'. Baloo needs an adopter who's a strong pack leader, so a more experienced dog owner who'll channel his energy properly would be ideal. Baloo is about 4 years old and weighs 66 lbs.
