About Bosu

My name is Bosu (aka Penny). I made my way north in search of my new family! If you think that's with you, please apply today! I won't be available for long... I'm guessed to be a doberman/hound mix, but I actually have some brindle markings on my paws, so I'm not sure what that part is I'm about 3 years old and currently weigh approximately 45lbs. Since you can still see my ribs, my foster mom thinks I should gain 5-10 lbs. We're working on that...I'm getting better at eating all my food! I have some skin/fur issues right now, but my foster mom is using some medicated shampoo every few days (and cleaning my ears regularly) to fix that right up!! I'm good at going into my crate when it's time, and I'm pretty well house-trained already (I bark when I need to go potty, so no accidents in the house since I arrived). I like to play with my foster siblings - running around inside or outside...from an energy level standpoint, my foster mom says I'm a solid medium. I can chill with the best of them though, sleeping on the couch and cuddling with my foster siblings or mom I do good on car rides, I just need some help getting in and out (if the vehicle sits higher off the ground) I went to a fundraiser yoga class for OPH on the 9th, and did great with meeting new people. The adoption event on the 16th was good, but a little overwhelming - I didn't have any issues with people, but it appears I don't like dogs that are bigger than me.
