About Dylan

Bengal
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

We are looking for a loving home for our house cat, Dylan. Dylan is a very sweet and playful cat. He likes it when someone is with him or around him, and also when you chase him. He also likes to 'talk' to you. We are always busy and never home much. He always wants someone to play with him, but because he has no cat or anyone to play with him when we are away, he is all alone. We hope we can find someone that can spend a little time with him and let him be part of the household throughout the day. To all who might love Dylan- Dylan, our incredible Bengal cat, has been with us about 4.5 years. He is an indoor cat, with no vaccines except%A0the 6-week one. We cut his nails every 2 weeks. He is quite verbal%A0and talks a lot. The first year plus a few months%A0were the best. After about 18 months%A0he began peeing on our Italian couch. After trying all that we could for%A0full year and only watching frequency get worse, we eventually consulted a Bengal cat psychologist from California. There was a 3 hour consult to help us help%A0him. Wth 30 days of follow up. We provide Dylan with organic food, and after speaking with her, changed his food, and increased his litter boxes from 1 to 4. She taught us to use larger litter boxes and where to set them in the house floor plan. We also got him an automatic night feeder, with one of our daughters%A0voices to call him at 2am to come and eat, Also provided him with%A0new, and more toys. There were additional feeders bought for him so he might have to be able to work a bit to get his food. We went from 2 scratch posts in the house to 5. And another%A0tree house for him. Dylan is super smart, can open heavy, 10 foot doors with his paws and hind legs. He Likes to be massaged while he eats. He understands English and Dutch to some degree. His Uncle is Kaiser the Cat, the most viewed%A0cat on the Internet....take a look. He is, of course, half Asian leopard, and is from a pure line. Dylan feels emotions quite easily. His coat is absolutely stunning. Hecan%A0 jump incredibly high. He is in perfect weight and health. After 1.5 years of attempting the train him to use his litter boxes, it only kept getting%A0worse. As last%A0resort, we placed%A0him in the garage, (with his own heater and fan for cold and warm seasons), when we left the house and when we slept at night. it was not long, and he started peeing even when we were present. After over 70 events, the couch is ruined and going to the dump. We cleaned it with the special%A0stuff the cat psychologist informed us, over and over and over, but it did not help. After%A0he started on the even%A0more expensive leather couches, it was enough. Now, sadly, he lives%A0in the garage alone. Every night%A0the lady of the house spends about 30 minutes playing him. Our 3 children, who we got him for, rarely%A0go to play with him. He is super active. Loves to be around the action. We think it is cruel to leave him in a garage for the next 15 years, and not within a loving household. He needs a loving home and fresh start.
