About Percy

Meet Percy! He is a quirky strong willed 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier mix looking for a pack with a strong leader. He weighs just over 12 pounds and is full grown. Percy needs people that will understand that he needs time to warm up to new people and will also need time to adjust in a new environment. He has been with Paw Creek Training because he had some human aggression problems. They have worked with Percy for over a month and he is doing great! Percy has done well with men and women but needs a home with no one under the age of 18. He is a small dog with a big personality. Percy loves to play and work, but is not a big cuddler. Percy prefers to be treated like the big dog he thinks he is. He has never lived with any other animals and would still do best as the only dog in the home. Percy is house broken, kennel trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car (if seat belted). He would do best in a home where his people are home more often than not and don't have too many visitors. Percy is still an active boy but busy and loud environments make him uncomfortable. He would especially love a home where he could have his own toys kept to himself, every once in a while he will shove them up against our leg when he is willing to share so you will play with him! Percy will need a lot of structure in his life to keep growing and thriving. Will you be the leader Percy needs? He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
