About Sir Earl of Grey

Grey is a very sweet and affectionate little dude full of energy and life!! I rescued him off the streets in November and have gotten him fully vetted. He is not integrating well with my others, but I believe this may be more due to how many I have and how little time I can give. I do think under a better situation he will get along with the right cat and possibly even a dog. He is somewhat dominant, but mostly tries to play and the others that are older want none of it. Will probably do better with other boy cats. He very much wants to be friends with my two, but they want ZERO to do with him. He is very clever, knows and responds to his name and may be a candidate for leash training. He is very gentle when he plays with me so I do think he'd be a great fit for a family with kids as they will be able to keep up with his energy, as long as they are taught to be gentle also. Only disclaimer is that he was a feral I've turned, so if overly provoked, he WILL defend himself. As he ages I'm sure he will become an awesome lap kitty while retaining his spunk. I'm sure he will make an amazing pet for the right family, and I am committed to finding him just that, so I am happy to do trial periods for anyone interested. $100 adoption fee is to deter irresponsible adopters while also recovering a small percentage of his vetting bills, which were nearly $1000. I did not work through any shelter or rescue, so that was all out of pocket for me. He did have some infections when I rescued, but he has been fully cleared. He is also chipped and all vaccine records are available. He will need boosters for two vaccines soon, if he will be indoor/outdoor. Rabies is fully up to date.
