About Petey

I love Petey very much but I got him at 7 wks and was told he was a chihuahua.. .He just got into chicken coop and killed all my new chickens We got yesterday. He is a good boy but my father (my neighbor) just hates him. I am seeking disability and I can't control him...I can't even het a collar or harness on him. He will not let me touch him for days at a time. He has chewed every right sandal shoe slipper. He is smart as a whip and loves tug a war and is learning fetch.I have NEVER had a dog like this and I don't know what else to do. I know he loves kids. he is not aggressive--unless you are a chicken--no snapping, not food aggressive at all. I can't afford to take him to classes or hire someone to HELP me train him, I would GLADLY accept help training him. I dontwant ro get rid of him but I think he needs more attention, more excercise, than I can give. I may be selling him short by leepong him when I know he would be great with kids. It's just me--52 disabled single woman with 2 chihuahuas.. any advice or help or anything would be greatly appreciated
