THEODORE (Teddy :-) is such a sweet dog. He loves affection and being petted. He'll hang out with you inside or out and also likes to sun-bathe. He's fine with other dogs, doesn't really pay attention to them. He'd also love to be your only child. He loves car rides and loves home-cooked meals, and loves hugs. Perfect for low key lifestyle. All the groomers (@poochini in Abq) loved him for his very sweet personality :-) He was an inch from death when he came into the rescue. He's showed such love and gratefulness to his caregivers that helped make him healthy again. He is approx five yrs old, 70#, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. Teddy has a bone spur (spine) - he walks and plays and is quite happy. When he gets older (and sometimes now if there's too much exertion) he'll need some anti-inflammatory/pain meds to ease his discomfort. Of course, if you have access to doggie water therapy or acupuncture, I'm sure he won't mind that ;-) Our process is to contact us via email [email protected] (please do not call). We have an online application, we have a meeting at your home with your family members including current pets. (Yes we bring the pet to you!) a trial adoption and stay in touch - we love updates! We adopt locally to the Santa Fe, central ABQ, Rio Rancho and Los Alamos areas of New Mexico.
