About Issy

Issy is available for foster or for foster-to-adopt. She is a 4 year old, 35 lbs Australian Cattle dog mix. She's looking for a human to provide her with all of the love and companionship that she deserves. She needs a person who is patient, calm and continue working on her socialization skills. She has developed a fondness for toys, but prefers not to share them with other dogs. She would thrive in a home with no children. If there are other dogs in the future home, she will need to be introduced to them slowly. Issy is extremely smart and observant of her surroundings. Issy does have low-grade heartworms and will require treatment which is why we are searching for a foster or foster-to-adopt while this gets taken care of (the rescue covers the cost of the treatment).
