About Maddison

I have been 'fostering' a wonderful PitBull (Maddison) since November 2019, unfortunately I am unable to keep her much longer. The original owner was supposed to come get her last week, but went 'radio silent' several weeks ago - I spoke to his Aunt, the only one in contact with him, and she informed me he cannot afford to take care of her. When I took this on, I felt confident the young man loved Maddison and was trying to get his life together so he could get her back. Unfortunately that appears not to be the case. His Aunt & I are wanting to find Maddison her forever home! Maddison is 18-21 months old, a total wiggle butt (as all pits are!), she smiles, and loves to play (as well as destroy toys that are supposedly indestructible). She is house trained, kennel trained, up to date on shots. She does need some training related to jumping up on people and trying to get you to play by biting (softly) your hands/shirt/arms. She is socialized with other dogs, but I feel she would not be good in a home with small children due to the jumping/soft biting, but that could change after she gets over her puppy-ishness. She loves to play with 'large Sticks' (aka: logs) I have posted some pictures on FB and would love to share them with you. I would also love to any help/support/suggestions you may have in relation to finding Maddison's forever home Maddison is not spayed, but will work with you on ensuring she gets spayed
