About INDY

Indy is a handsome young 1 and 1/2 year old, 15 pound possible dachshund mix. He is super shy when you first meet him, but after he warms up you will have a new snuggle buddy and best friend. He can be fearful of new environments, so it's best to let him get comfortable at his own pace. He loves to romp and play with his foster dog siblings (even with big dogs). Indy is great on a leash and LOVES walks, he is very playful and loves his food (he needs to have a 'slow down' bowl). He is mostly potty trained and would benefit from a doggie door. He has an injury to his spine and his foster mom thinks his accidents in the house happen when he is excited or playing and he doesn't realize it is happening. He is still wobbly on his back legs and falls sometimes but he never gives up, what he lacks in stability he makes up in determination. He would do best with an active person or family with older children He's been vetted, vaccinated and is ready for adoption.
