About MILEY

Meet Miley! Miley is a very timid white Pomeranian that was pulled from a kill shelter in Ohio. We are not sure what her story is; is she a stray, was she an owner dump, possibly a mill dog? We will never know. What we do know is this, Miley is approximately 9 years old and completely vetted. She does not behave like a dog that has ever known love or a kind touch. Miley recoils when approached but once she builds her bond she is very loving and wants nothing more than to snuggle with you. She is working on her potty habits but it is slow going, just going outside scares her unless she is being held. Miley needs a small quiet family to teach her about love and kindness. She would be fine with another small dog that is older and passive. She ignores cats and could easily live with them. Miley is on the small side just about 10 pounds. She was in rough shape at intake but her coat is starting to come back nicely. There are a few absolute musts with Miley: No young children can live in the home, she is afraid of quick movements and loud noises. Miley must have a fenced yard, no exceptions to this, she will run when scared and most things scare her. She will need a family with patience and a gentle hand/demeanor. Miley is a sweet and kind soul that deserves her own forever home.
