About Jackson

Jackson may look old but throw a ball or play tug-of-war and his inner puppy comes out. He is a 13 year old in the body of a 2 year old! It takes a while for him to warm up to someone but once he does, you'll have a forever friend. He's a little bit of a loner and likes to sleep in his own bed at night. He is also a little protective of his toys but as long as no other dog wants to play with what he has, he gets along well with them. He prefers older kids, especially if they like to play ball. Jackson is house and crate trained and enjoys a nap or two in his safe space. Overall, he's in good health but he does have allergies which he takes Benadryl for. He also has had some kind of trauma when he was younger and has nerve damage in his retractor muscle so his penis can never fully retract. It doesn't hinder him in anyway and he loves to run so a fenced in yard would be great. Luckily, he's a shorty jack and can't jump high so a regular-height fence would be fine. So if you're looking for a laid back older gentleman that loves to play, this pup is for you. Jackson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and HW negative.
