Please know that we will ask for a vet reference. Name: Echo Age: Approximately 2 years Breed: Boxer Mix Sex: 47# (Female) Spayed Location: Concord, NC Vet Information: UTD on vaccines. Heartworm negative. Owner report: Echo is in need of a new family due to owner loosing her house. According to the owner: 'Echo is a 2 year old boxer mix that has 100% sight loss from eye trauma. The third eyelid has closed over her right eye, and the eye isn't visible. I am heart broken that I have to look for another rescue for my babies, but I do not want to stick them in boarding with no idea when I would get them out. The environment would be so scary for Ms. Echo especially, that I can't bring myself to do that.' Echo is housebroken, leash trained and knows how to sit. Her owner reports she is possessive of one bone but otherwise shares her toys and has never bitten or snapped at a person or animal. Echo is described as nervous, good with adults, teenagers, cats and dogs. Echo lived with several other dogs and has been exposed to cats. Her owner notes that 'Echo does get nervous and throw up from anxiety during storms.' Her owner reports she adjust well to new situations. Echo is crated when the owner is away. Sometimes if Echo feels overwhelmed, Echo will go to her crate and lie down.
