About Hunter

Hunter's adoption fee includes all vetting, transport, and the first 6 months of Heartworm prevention. Hunter is a handsome 52 lbs 3 year old lab/hound mix. He is a joyful, confident, silly doggy who will make an awesome companion. He loves to exercise, play, learn new things, meet new people, and take treats! Please watch his video to see how great he is with kiddos. Also in his video you will see he has done great meeting other dogs while in our care. In the video you see him meet a male dog. Hunter also does group play at his boarding facility daily, keeping him well socialized. He may not have perfect leash manners or household manners as he came from the streets and we don't know much about his history, BUT he has an awesome temperament and he is eager to please, so we definitely think he is trainable. He is not overly hyper, he has a moderate energy level. He has done great learning the routine at the boarding facility. When let out to potty, he prefer to go outside and doesn't often have accidents. He loves to run and play in the play yard. He also loves to get attention and hugs, and will lean into you while you pet him. Hunter came to us with a dangling canine so we had it removed during his neuter. We don't know his past but he had a lot of scars, which are now healing nicely. Hunter really is a sweet boy. He is lovable, and loving. And it goes without saying how handsome he is!!!
