Henry is a handsome young Dachshund mix rescued from a high kill shelter. Henry was likely living on the streets for awhile as he is extremely skinny and shy around people. He's about a year old, so will easily overcome this and move on with his life. Henry has already made tremendous progress in his foster home, and is less skittish but still has a ways to go. Henry tries to curl himself up into a little ball or burrow under his blanket. Henry needs a guardian angel who will give him the love he needs to feel confident and safe. Henry is a very good boy, and otherwise well behaved. He has gorgeous chestnut colored fur and the most soulful big brown eyes. Henry has already gone through so much in his young life and deserves the very best! Henry is neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped. Henry is being fostered with another small dog and gets along well with him. If you'd like to meet Henry, please email [email protected] We're only adopting out to the Southern California area.
