About Geno

Hello my name is Geno and I am a 3 year old mixed breed dog that needs a new home. My mom and dad love me very much and are heartbroken that I am leaving. Unfortunately despite my training and loving personality, I sometimes get protective over my food. This only occurs with other animals so I will need to find a home where I am the only animal and there are no small children. I am fixed and I don't have any accidents in the house. I love to cuddle and despite my size, I identify as a lap dog. Luckily, I know the word 'off' and 'sit' so if you don't want to spoon with me in bed at 11pm, I am happy to sleep on the floor. I was found in a box when I was only 3 weeks old and my family has cared for me very well and provided the most loving and safe environment possible. I love life and people. Due to my size and my occasional issue with food around other dogs and the cat, my parents are afraid something might accidentally happen with the baby and they believe living my entire life in the crate is not fair or humane. My Departure is the hardest decision they have ever had to make. They would love to be able to visit me sometimes and send gifts of food, treats, bedding to help with my expenses if my new mom and dad would be open to that. I get a little excited sometimes but I listen well and I am an absolute joy to be around. I have had one incident where I was startled and accidentally nipped my mom, no stitches, outside this incident I have been the most loving and obedient companion and would make the perfect addition to a loving home looking for dog to join their family
