About Puppy

Puppy is a big, sweet Dalmatian who is a heck of a fun dog. We accepted him as a short term special needs, as he is deaf, but our family chose to adopt following his foster period. Unfortunately we are in the process of upsizing our family while downsizing our house so we are seeking options to rehome this lovable guy. As stated he is deaf but is highly attentive, responsive and well behaved. Luckily for us he is very food motivated Which allowed for easy training He knows all the beginner moves such as sit, shake and stay. He is house, leash and kennel trained, though he can be exceptionally vocal when he is kenneled at times when he knows there is someone moving about the house and he isn't allowed to do the same! Our children are 4 and 9 and aside from occasionally being clueless about his size, he is a top notch family dog. He was also raised with cats and small dogs so he will at worst bug them with his want for play! He has been around larger dogs as well which is only an issue in the presence of children. In these cases he has not been overly aggressive but he has exhibited signs of protective behavior. In short, he has been a fantastic dog for our family but with a new baby on the way and a smaller home planned we are unable to provide what we consider is a fair amount of play time and space for him.
