We do not charge an application fee like many Boston rescues. Ours is free and it helps us use our time more efficiently. Give us the time it takes you to submit an app and we'll give you our full attention. Carley is an adorable 8 year old, 21 pound red darling. She is fully housebroken, spayed and UTD on all her vaccines. Carley may have some hearing issues but can hear. Outdoors, although hearing them she cannot always determine where sounds are coming from. Indoors in a quieter, controlled atmosphere she seems ok, like knowing a knock on the door or her foster's dogs barking. Although she gets along with most other dogs, she has no interest in them and would prefer to be the only one in the home. She doesn't do well with cats and would be best with older dog savvy children. Carley never received leash training in her former home, but loves to be outside to roam around. Since she doesn't always come when called, the security of a fence is a must. Carley loves her toys and her soft shaggy bed. She is not destructive at all and will happily mouth her soft toys. Carley wasn't loved the way she deserved in her former life and when her people had a baby, she didn't fit into their plan. She was never allowed up on furniture and had no clue what a toy or treat was. Carley will need time to warm up to her people and has slowly done that in foster care but with patience and love, her new family will watch her bloom.
