About Mitzi Ray

My name is Mitzi Ray and I am an adorable mixed breed girl. The rescue thinks I am a Jack Russell mixed with Chihuahua. The doctor estimates my age at about 10 and I weigh 11 pounds. I prefer the calm dogs in my foster home, but my favorite thing is to snuggle my humans. I do pretty paddle paws for treats, but I am shy and take a little while to warm up. I walk perfect on a leash, can do steps, am crate trained, and pretty well house trained when it comes to peeing outside. Sometimes the urge to do a number two hits me and I go wherever I am standing, but it isn't a big deal and easy to clean up (any physical reason for this has been ruled out so a family must be patient and work with Mitzi to overcome this behavior which will take dedication). The nice foster family I am with do give me glucosamine each day due to me having a little stiffness when I walk. Now I feel great and I am ready for a family of my very own! Mitzi Ray would do best in a calmer home with dogs that are not high energy as they do scare her. She is a loyal sweet little lady that just wants to be with her human.
