Hi, my name is JEROME - ID#A4359558. I am a neutered male, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 49 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 23, 2019. Jerome was pretty scared and nervous when he arrived at the shelter, and could hardly be walked on a leash. Now he is quite comfortable, and walks on the leash very well, although he does pull a little when he first gets out of his kennel - just so excited to get out. Jerome is very friendly and a wiggle butt; loves to get treats, taking them gently, and loves to go on walks. He gets along fine with other dogs, although he plays a little rough and rowdy. Overall, he is a social, friendly, well-mannered dog who would be welcome to any neighborhood. Since Jerome has been at the shelter almost 2 months now, he is at risk for euthanasia. Please consider saving this sweet boy and making him your next furry family member. 'URGENT' - If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP 520-800-4633.
