About Remi

We are looking to rehome our 4 year old German Shepard. We are having to rehome him because my husbands job requires him to work more frequently and I cannot provide the attention he needs with a toddler and a new baby on the way. Since my husband's schedule has changed remi has shown signs of anxiety and has been slightly aggressive towards only myself and is usually only when my husband is in the house. Since my husbands schedule may not be changing for a while we do not want these anxious behaviors to take root. Remi is currently on anxiety medicine prescribed by his vet. Remi does know basic commands but with work I know he has a lot of potential to learn a lot more. He is house trained and stays inside majority of the time, however he does love being outdoors as well. He is not crate trained (was when he was younger) but does have a designated spot in the house he goes to when we leave the house. He is currently not leashed trained as we live on 8 aces and he just roams around and stays close to the house. He is not fixed but is up to date on all his shots. Remi has not grown up with other dogs around but seems to play well and nice when others do come to visit. He really is a sweet loving dog if provided a STRONG MALE LEADER, regular attention and some training. We are looking for a good fit home for him and want it to be a positive experience for his new family.
