About Hi-5

Her nickname is Hi-5 and she is energetic and seriously happy. She got her nickname because when she comes into the house she runs in on her back two legs and jumps up to your Hi-5 hand and taps you a Hi-5 as you say, 'Hi-5' ! (She's very proud of this ;-) We had bottle-fed her as a tiny puppy and she was adopted to a family that promised to raise her lovingly. However, they decided they were 'cat people' and didn't make the effort to socialize her with other dogs so she missed that window to learn proper doggie ettiquet (you know like a relaxed 'sniff butt'). But she is still young and trying to learn. The foster family's dog is a male shepherd mix who is exceedingly social and she gets along with him. She has a big fluffy tail. Her adoption fee includes her vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, spay and microchip. She was born March 8, 2019. She is house-trained and crate trained. Our process is to contact us via email [email protected] (please do not call). We have an online application, we have a meeting at your home with your family members including current pets. (Yes we bring the pet to you!) a trial adoption and stay in touch - we love updates! We adopt locally to the Santa Fe, central ABQ, Rio Rancho and Los Alamos areas of New Mexico.
