About Honey

I said that Honey is not good with other dogs as she can be intermittently reactive....then fine for days. Not much fun for the dogs waiting for her unprovoked wrath. However out in the world she is fine. This is what her foster says: Honey is a very intelligent, active, puppy like 3 year old. Honey loves to be outside, the snow has been a bonus in her eyes. She loves to play with toys, inside and out. This young lady is house trained, goes to the door to ask for out. She would make a great walking, hiking buddy. When first meeting new folks she is reserved and shy, takes a while to warm up. Treats and toys are a great way to break the ice. Honey needs consistent reminders to not jump, she will pull on the leash when walking. With practice she will improve. Honey knows some basic commands, such as sit, down, lay down. Enjoys working for treats so training will be fun for her. She still does not like to ride, very anxious. May be sick when riding, not always. Going to check with vet to see what might help. Honey is just a sweetheart and in the right setting will blossom. She needs to be queen of her castle and loves to spend time with her human no matter what you are doing. She does table and counter surf, we have been working on it as she is not just looking for food. She loves to look for whatever she can reach. Another work in progress.
