About Dixie

Home Free Animal Rescue is excited to announce the availability of one of the most spectacular and special dogs on the planet. Sweet Dixie has spent the last couple of months showing us the free spirit that fills her. She is silly, affectionate, loves breakfast, lunch, dinner time, and everything in between and plays ball like an agile big dog. She is really a girl that will be the one and only of your heart. Dixie is full of personality and loves humans and other dogs alike. As a young, energetic, 3 year old, petite, blonde terrier, she gets a little overzealous when she interacts with cats, rabbits or other small mammals so she would probably blend in smoothly with a family that enjoys the relationship of the canine type in lieu of a variety of species. Dixie has a very cheerful attitude and does beautifully with all those she meets but she is a focused dog when it comes to food and treats so if she is around young children, that are offering to share their nummies with her, it would be best to keep a watchful eye just because Dixie is highly food motivated and very brave when it comes to scoring yummy resources. Dixie is a rescue favorite and has shown us how truly resilient she is. In her few short years on the planet she has been shuffled around and is now just a step away from living her best life.
