About KC Chief

Hi prospective family, my name is KC Chief and I'm here to tell you about myself so we can see if we are a good forever match. I'm about 18 months old, and a mix of the 2 best breeds you could ask for�'�| Aussie and Great Pyrenese. I'm a big boy, about 60#, but I don't really know what that means and like to lay on my people. I'm a gentle, kind dog who just wants to be loved. I have good manners and a relaxed personality. I LOVE other dogs and kids, and well�'�| everyone I meet. One of my favorite things to do is to run and play in the snow. I just love to run and play in general, and will require a fenced yard in my new home. Other things I like are naps (I can fall asleep anywhere), going for car rides, and going for walks. I'm still learning about how to walk on a leash, so I'll need some more training in this area. I could use some refreshers on general training also, and would love to learn more tricks and commands. I'm smart, they tell me, so will be a super fast learner. My foster dad says all these nice things about me (foster dad is really nice to me): 'Chief is a versatile dog with a great personality. He is loving, affectionate, and a genuinely happy dog. He is a great companion and loves men, women and kids. He will flourish in a home with other dogs'. I sound pretty great, don't you think? I'm also house trained and crate trained (I sleep in my crate at night). I'm neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations. I'm heart worm negative and on monthly heart worm, flea and tick preventatives. I'll need to stay on these in my new forever home, and always be kept up to date on my vaccines. I'm so excited to find my new forever family. I don't remember much of my early life, even though I'm only 18 months old. I had a family once, but they didn't want me anymore. A nice family took me in for awhile, but eventually I ended up at a shelter in Oklahoma. Australian Shepherds Furever volunteers found out about me and got me the heck out of Dodge asap!
