***WHEN MY FAMILY BECAME HOMELESS -- THEY HOPED SOMEONE ELSE WOULD LOVE ME, NOT KILL ME! ... He had a happily life, until one day the unthinkable happened and they lost their home. What would you do if you became homeless? Most of us say we would live in our cars and would never bring our animals to a shelter. But sometimes in life, there are no choices especially when you have kids. Hunter was a good boy his whole life, I'm sure they thought bringing him to the 'shelter' he would surely find a new family - right?! Well, kill shelters dont work that way. And if your pup is scared like Hunter is, your days are numbered. The shelter wants him gone today! A volutneer writes ' I just got to meet Hunter and OMG he is soooo freaking cute!!! He's a low rider and has so much skin his back legs truly look like a pig's. Hunter's owner notes are really good: he's good with kids, dogs, even cats!! He loves to play fetch or with squeaky toys, though we couldn't get him interested in much today. He definitely seems shell shocked being in the shelter. He's not ready to get cuddly yet but showed no issues and even seems to have some house training. %9D%A4%8F%9D%A4%8F' Previously lived with:: 2 adults 1 child 1 cat Strangers: Hunter is shy around strangers but will be friendly with time.
