He definitely seems shell shocked being in the shelter. Children: Hunter has been around various ages of children, youngest being 6 months old. He was described as relaxed, respectful, and tolerant. Dogs: Hunter has been around various sizes and ages of dogs outside of the home during walks, he was described as relaxed and respectful of them. Cats: Hunter has lived with a cat and was described as tolerant and respectful of him. For a New Family to Know: Hunter is described as shy, excitable, independent, and aloof. He will play with all kinds of toys like balls, stuffed toys, and squeaky toys. He will play fetch or tug. He has been kept mostly indoors and will sleep anywhere in the home. He has been fed natural balance dry food once a day and cannot be fed chicken to him being allergic to it. He is house trained and will use the potty on any surface outdoors. He is well behaved when left alone in the home, has never been left alone in the yard, and has been crate trained for up to 10 hours. He will sometimes respond to his name and sit. He will go on brisk walks on the leash twice a day for 30 minutes.
