She was born to a backyard breeder and when her and one other sibling were not able to be sold for money, the owners agreed to surrender them to the rescue. She was so timid and scared at first... no vetting at all, internal parasites, infection, and puppy mange. A few short months later and this girl is happy, social, and healthy! Taraji was born on June 18, 2019 and currently weighs 25 lbs. Her dad was a Beagle and mom was a Pitbull....she's a Beagabull!! She will be a medium sized dog when she's all grown up (maybe in the 40 lb range). Taraji is crate trained and potty trained. She has basic obedience training already and is a very well behaved puppy. She loves playing with other pups big or small, sunbathing, cuddling, taking walks, toys and balls, and especially treats! She will fetch for a short time. She loves to sleep right next to her person, but will also sleep in her crate all night without a peep. You can definitely see the Beagle traits in her....that nose loves to explore, and she is super food motivated. She can be vocal when she plays. She will need a secure fence because she will escape to explore if she can. She will need to be in an active home with another pup(s) to play with. All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 + tax (pups 6 months and older) and $350 + tax (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
