About Salmon (east)

Hi, my name is SALMON - ID#A4346406. I am a spayed female, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier and Boxer, and I weigh about 50 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 3 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 22, 2019. Salmon has been at the shelter quite a while, and is now at risk for being euthanized. Here are some notes from a couple of our volunteers who recently spent time with Salmon: 12/3/2019 WALK 'Calm and friendly in kennel; easy pull/return; loose leash walker; took treats, allowed petting, playful; walks right next to you on leash; very calm and gentle with treats and interactions; very affectionate, leans in for more petting; tail wagging throughout walk, sweet girl.' 1/20/2020 WALK 'Salmon was friendly, an easy pull/return, walked with a 'stop/go' gait, took treats, solicited petting, was playful. She loved the ball! Walked well on leash and was interested in other dogs but easily redirected. She knows 'sit' and 'drop', loved being petted and belly rubs.'
