Meet Sadie! This 4-year-old little 8 pound nugget may be small but she has a big personality. She loves, loves, loves to play! She likes toys and even comes up with her own, whether it be a plastic lid or foster mom's yarn. She is dog friendly and she absolutely adores her SGF senior foster brother, Jonah. She tries to groom him and sometimes watches over him as he naps. She has luxating patellas in her rear legs. This means her kneecap sometimes moves out of its normal location. She does not have any discomfort because of this, and it definitely does not slow her down. Because her legs are long and dainty, foster mom believes she would do best in a home with older children who understand how to properly handle a dog. Also, she can also be mouthy when she plays. She has been known to nibble on foster mom's chin, nose, ears and attempts to groom her hair. This is another reason why foster mom feels she would do best in a home with older children only. She does use a potty pad. When outside, she would benefit from a securely fenced in yard or being walked on a leash. She loves to curl up with foster mom for naps but prefers sleeping in her own crate at night.
