About Dino

It is easy to fall in love quickly with Dino! He is a big ol' teddy bear and is quite possibly one of the silliest boys we have met yet! Dino just turned one year old in December and is neutered. Dino is pretty much an oversized puppy with some puppy behaviors still. He will need a large-breed experienced adopter who will continue to teach him polite manners. After all, he is a pretty big boy and is quite strong. He is confident but extremely treat-motivated. Dino does best with structure and guidance, so his adopter should be familiar with setting boundaries for an animal that is new to their home. Dino's favorite things are stuffed animals that are squeaky. He will take them out of his kennel just so they can accompany him on a walk! Dino is learning how to walk politely on a leash and will need his adopter to continue to teach him. The stuffed animals really help him be more polite while walking! Dino knows how to sit! He is always ready to play and is almost like an overgrown puppy! He has lots of energy but can also be a lazy dude. Our staff has been working hard to teach Dino manners and he is a great student in sessions! It would be awesome if his adopter kept on teaching him good manners! We think Dino would do well with other playful dogs and even dog-friendly kitties with a proper introduction! He really is such a friendly guy! He may be a bit barky towards new people, but all it literally takes is a treat offered and he is your new best friend! Dino would do best without any smaller kiddos in the home at this point.
