Itzel was listed as a code red 7 month old Chihuahua at Coachella valley. She was so fearful she would hide and cower when people came to see her. So nobody wanted her and when a dog sits too long in a shelter it can mean the end for them. Thankfully the rescue coordinator knew she was a good girl and reached out. Within minutes she was a whole new pup. After a physical and assessment by our vets she is said to be 1.5. She has all her full grown teeth and is now learning that people are not going to hurt her. She is all healed up and ready for a new home. She does very well with kids, cats and other small playful dogs. She is also potty pad and crate trained. Once she is in your arms she loves to hear you talk to her like a baby and love on her like she is a real baby. She bonds fairly quickly with human females if you work with her but takes some time for males, but she has never shown aggression.
