About Sammy

Hi, my name is Sammy , and I am a year 4 year old Pointer mix. I weigh 44 lbs and have slim build. My temperament is somewhat dominant and I get along with fellow canine companions but am nervous around little children and strangers . Due to my energetic nature, I would thrive in a home that has a larger yard, and an active adopter who can take me on long walks. hunting, etc. An active family or adopter who has my energy level would be the best fit! . I am potty/crate trained as well, such a plus foster mom says! My favorite thing is lounging by your side or watching birds and squirrels in the yard. There is not a lot of history on my backstory, but I prefer to look forward anyway and can't wait to meet you and get the second chance of a loving furever home that I always deserved. An experienced adopter would be best for me. I take time to warm up but once I do I will be loyal and a great medium sized dog who will defend you til the end! I have a short, easy care coat and am up to date on all my shots, preventatives and am HW negative. I am also spayed/neutered and microchipped.
