About Ike

Doberman Pinscher
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

My name is Ike and my brother's is Mike. And we're the special ones. That's what everyone keeps saying but we don't understand why. Something about our eyes but we don't seem to notice anything. It appears that we both have no vision in one of our eyes and for some reason that makes us special. All I can say is we both get around fine. Thankfully the rescue took us in and made sure we had a thorough exam at Metropolitan Vet. Assoc. and Dr Spertus took real good care of us. We weren't happy at the time with all the lights shining in our eyes and drops being put in but it was for our own good that they find out exactly what was going on. We were apparently born this way but like I said, it doesn't seem to bother either one of us. We get around fine, maybe we may bump into something once in a while but that's to be expected when it's on the side we can't see. We love to play and run around but remember, we're still little and need our naps. It would be best for someone to be home more during the day in order to give us the guidance and structure that will definitely be needed as we grow. I'm only 14 wks old right now but so full of myself. If you think you're able to provide me the loving home that I'm looking for, go to www.dvdpa.org and then to adopt to fill out an application. Heres a close up of Ike's eye.
