About Bella

Bella is a 16 yr young sweetheart who has had a rough 2020 so far. She was surrendered to a shelter in MD when her family lost their home. This special girl has been through a lot and needs a soft place to rest her head. Bella has difficulty walking due to arthritis and a heart condition. She is on medication for both and she is feeling SO much better than she did when she got to WAAAG. She also had much needed spa day shortly after arriving which made her coat as soft as silk. Bella is now with a wonderful foster family and has been given the run of the house. She has been trying out every bed in the home, but still prefers to sleep on a blanket on the floor. Even with her arthritis she is doing well with the stairs if she goes slowly. Bella follows her foster dad around the house and lays on the floor quietly while he works. She appears to have trouble hearing, but is doing well when given direction with hand/arm signals - smart girl! She reportedly doesn't shed much and is getting along well with her furry foster siblings. This girl just wants to be close to you and be loved on. She is quiet and pretty and just the best girl.
