About Minnie

Minnie is a young pit/rat terrier mix with lots of personality in a petite package. She is very intelligent, quick to learn (we`re working on sit and fetch) and eager to please. She could be a great running or hiking partner and would even carry her own treats. We`re recommending no children under twelve and someone with the time to give this high energy girl training and lots of exercise. She`ll need a fully fenced yard with a high fence. This girl can jump! Call the Clatsop County Animal Shelter in Warrenton, Oregon (outside of Astoria) at 503-861-7387 to schedule a time to meet Minnie. The shelter is open noon to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday. If you live outside of Clatsop County, you'll need to bring photos of your home. All family members (humans and dogs) need to meet our dogs at the shelter. UPDATE: The shelter has established procedures to minimize everyone's exposure to the COVID-19 virus. If you'd like to visit with Minnie, you will need to call and make an appointment at 503-861-7387; if the line is busy you can leave a message and the staff will call you back. The shelter will be taking appointments from 11:00 to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday. You will be asked several health-related questions before you are allowed in.
