About Cashew

Cashew was brought into our rescue after he was attached my a coyote and suffered puncture wounds and severe swelling and bruising to his throat. When he came in, he was non ambulatory and didn't want to eat or even look at anyone. He was infested with worms and very lethargic. Today, after he recieved medical attention for all his ailments, Cashew has made a lot of progress. Although he is a shy guy that takes his time to warm up to people, once he does he looks forward to belly scratches and lots of pets. With proper introduction, Cashew would do fine with another dog or perfectly happy as an only dog as well.
