About Bailey

Bailey is a large miniature Aussie... She is registered. She has a history of living on a horse ranch and shows a desire to chase horses... She was there for 3 years. The next 2 years were spent with a family with a very small yard. She was very good with the family and their kids, but had a couple of close calls with nipping at other children. She came to me about 6 months ago as a companion to my young Goldendoodle... They started off pretty well, but as the young dog got older, there was tension... Then Bailey started to get aggressive towards the doodle and the doodle, being larger, started to fight back... Some pretty upsetting fights had occurred... I then rehomed Bailey to a good friend with no dogs, but 2 cats... Bailey was great with my friend, but would still attack any dog that came near, big or small. She also would chase the cats if they were to run. Most recently, she went after an adult woman for no reason. This resulted in Bailey being returned to me. Bailey is a very sweet and loving girl to her family. She's very well behaved for the most part. She does want to chase my horses, but will stop. She responds very well to an electric collar, just sound and vibration. When the collar is on, the doggy is perfect. I don't know what to do to help her... I think she'd be a great companion to someone who would be with her 24/7. I'm afraid to rehome her with her issues, but the alternative is to put her down. I really don't want to do that because she is a great little girl... with some issues... This is my attempt to find just the right home for her so that she will not be shipped around or end up in an abusive situation, or end up biting someone. If you think you can help this beautiful girl, please contact me... Right now I have to keep her separated from my 2 other dogs, and it's not fair to any of them.
