About Vixen

Vixen is an approx. 60 lb 6 yr old mix (perhaps dobie/hound/terrier?) who recently found herself back with Dog Town after spending several years as a well loved family member. To know Vixen is to love her. She LOVES car rides and will sit in the passenger seat like a little co-pilot. In the home she is a good girl. Completely housebroken, non destructive and loves her family. She knows commands such as 'Sit', 'Stay' and 'Lay'. She is very treat motivated She LOVES cheese and will run to the fridge if she thinks that there is a chance of her getting a slice. She will sit and give paw 'shake' if asked, especially if cheese is the reward. When she is not being a lazy couch potato, she loves to go for walks and she always loves to sniff everything. (sometimes many, many times). Vixen's love of belly rubs is second to none. She will walk into a room and just flop on her back, demanding her belly and chest to be rubbed and scratched. She will sometimes lay upside down like that for more than hour. Vixen is good with dogs her size and bigger. She is too excited about smaller furry things so should not be in a home with small dogs or cats. She would also absolutely love to be your one and only. Vixen is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on vet care, including recent blood work and tested heartworm negative.
