About Vivid

Vivid is an almost 5 year old blue Merle female. Her birthday is just around the corner ,February 16th. Let's try and find her a furever home! She is a beautiful loving dog. Not much on the naughty list. We have had her in our home in Northern IL since Christmas week and got to know her very well. She is so good Santa even came! We did discover that we just need to remember to pick up the garbage can. Vivid loves animal friends including livestock! She has been around cows, goats, and show rabbits. She was raised with horses and transitioned to our farm great. She is bossy when it comes to other female dogs but gets along with them. She gets along with cats too. She should have a fenced in yard for her safety. Vivid loves all humans of all ages. She is currently around ages 2-10 kids. I'd recommend unless your toddler is respectful for at least age 4+. This smart girl knows commands and has training which includes sit, speak my girls call it 'sing', shake, down, and roll over. She loves her toys and chew bones but they have to be plain, no flavor. Her favorite thing to do is play fetch so her family should have the time and arm to play with her. She is great on a leash as well. She loves car rides. Vivid loves attention and is defiantly a family loving dog who will greet you with lots of licks & kisses! My daughters love to snuggle with her and she loves when someone rubs her tummy. Vivid does require a bit of medical expense. She is on C/D Hills dog food. She was checked out by the local veterinarian and should have yearly exams of blood and urine test. She was noticed to sometimes, when she lays down and is comfy to pea herself. She knows it's not ok to pea inside since she is house trained. This has improved with the C/D dog food and a antibiotic she was on. But should continue to monitor it. She likes to be loose in the house and does well she may explore the kitchen counters but does fine in the house when left alone. She does not like to be crate trained and is so smart she will figure it out. Vivid is going to make her family her priority if you love her she will love you just as much and make sure you know it!
