About Ally

Ally is a very special girl. I pulled her from a local shelter in SC and fostered her while she waited for her heart worm treatment. Ally was sweet and calm, loved affection and listened to commands. She went on to be fostered in two other homes while she received her 2 month treatment and was a beloved foster dog in each home. One even considered adopting her but chose to continue fostering for us. Ally headed north to her forever home and found a lovely couple who cared for her, provided exercise and did basic training with her. Sadly, Ally took the lead in the house and began resource guarding and claiming the couch as her own. Ally has been evaluated by our behaviorist as well as a trusted trainer who specializes in this area and we are happy to report that she just needs a leader (as all dogs do) who will give her boundaries and implement rules in the house. Fifteen minute training exercises will help Ally realize that she is not the head of the house. Ally is around two years old, 55lbs, crate-trained and housebroken and would prefer a home without children and an owner who will continue these exercises and bring her back to the submissive girl she innately is. She enjoys going for runs and attends daycare once a week where she loves playing with her friends. Located in CT.
