About DIAMOND 4 YRS

Harbor Shelter is in Urgently in need of a Rescue that is willing to help give Diamond a Second Chance. Diamond is a great dog with people and knows her commands. She has had no behavior issues with any staff or volunteers that have handled her. Diamond does not do well with other animals and would need to be the only dog in her new home. Diamond was first impounded into South LA Animal shelter on 12/11/18. Diamond was at large on public property and went after another dog. Unfortunately the owner of the other dog got bit trying to break up a dog fight. Due to this incident Diamond was held as evidence pending a hearing. Diamond was then transferred to harbor Shelter in Feb 2018 for a 45 day hold. Diamond is very sweet with the both the staff and volunteers and in need of a rescue to help give her that second chance. Diamond is a very friendly and affectionate dog with people. Volunteer Notes On dog walking list on site. Diamond sits calmly and is very easy to leash, will pull at other dogs barking in kennels. If dogs are calm she will not react much. Very loving and playful. Would be great as a single pet household. Sweet girl, very calm. Diamond will romp and play in small yard. Loves affection and pets.
