Charlie is a stout, medium size dog at 73 pounds. He is a mixed breed with a very attractive brindle coat. Charlie has a very pleasant and playful dog personality. He can be somewhat frisky and energetic at times, but is always well-behaved and responds in an obedient way. He is current with vaccines and is in good health. Charlie has had no accidents while in his crate or while in the house during foster care. He does well with adult companions. Homes with children under 12 years old may be too intense for his personality. He behaves well in the house when free on his own with human companions. Charlie will do best if crated when no one is present in the home. Charlie will also do well as an only dog in the home. He may be compatible with other social dogs with proper introductions. He may not be compatible with cats. Charlie has received two weeks of in-residency professional obedience training. Three private obedience lessons with a professional trainer are included with the adoption. Charlie comes with a crate upon adoption. Prospective adopters should be prepared to provide personal references and to complete an adoption application.
