About Chewy

Hi! I am looking to rehome Chewy because my schedule is becoming increasingly crazy and I can't devote to him the time that he deserves. Chewy came to me two and a half years ago, when a stranger gifted him to me off of the street. When I met him, he suffered from intense separation anxiety that has greatly improved, but that he still suffers from. Chewy would best be suited for an older owner with a yard, who loves slow walks (he loves to sniff), spends a lot of time at home, and will shower him in treats. He loves stuffed, squeaky toys, is a tough chewer and an avid cuddler. Chewy has dealt with aggression issues in the past, and needs someone to hire a behaviorist to work with him on these problems. He is very defensive about his food due to possible previous starvation, and doesn't get along with other animals most of the time. When I got Chewy two and a half years ago, he was estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old. He is now somewhere between 5 and 7.
