About Liam

Looking for a faithful furry friend...then look no further than Liam. He is a charming 5- or 6-year-old PekePom (Pekingnese/Pomeranian) and weighs 16 pounds. Liam is an all-around great dog!! He loves to snuggle, give kisses, play ball and with toys, go for walks...basically, he loves to do anything you do, as long as he is with you!! In keeping with the Pekingnese breed, he thrives on attention and will bark at strangers to protect his home. Liam is also very protective of his humans and furry siblings. If another dog is not feeling well, he will stay by their side. If he feels another dog is getting mouthy with his human, he will attempt to hoard the dog to make sure everything is under control. He is highly food motivated and will become overweight if overfed and will attempt to eat other dogs' food if his owner is not mindful. Liam was no where close to being house trained when he came, but within a very short period of time and with the help of him being neutered, his belly band is normally dry. Liam would bolt out the door or yard if given the opportunity, so he would do best in a home without children. He also is intrigued by cats and tends to chase after them, so a feline free home is best. You just can't help but fall in love with Liam and what little quirks he does have. Liam's adoption fee is $250 (discounted to $150 for senior citizens 65+). He is a very healthy boy and is up to date with all core vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
