About Mousie Ray

Say hello to Mousie Ray! This little 5-year-old, 5-pound squirt is destined to be somebody's baby. He is quite a character and will melt your heart instantly. We are looking for a very particular home for Mousie. He needs to be with someone who is home more often than not and someone without other pets. He loves to sleep with you, give kisses, and gently play. He does have severe food allergies and has been tested on just about every protein; therefore, his new family should be able to afford Zignature Kangaroo soft food formula (as Mouse had no teeth) and kangaroo or rabbit treats. The food will cost in the neighborhood of $50/month. Other than that, this sweet boy has no other health concerns. Mousie is nervous around strangers and goes into flight mode with loud noises. His new family should be cognizant of this at all times. His furever home should not consist of children, or grandchild who visit often. He has also mastered the trick to opening crates...from the inside, so we have to use a leash clasp to secure him in a crate when necessary. We are hoping a crate is not necessary in his new home, which is why we want an adopter who is not away from the home due to a full-time job and one without other animals. We recently discovered that sweet, innocent, little Mouse will attack other animals if they have a gentle demeanor. While he has no teeth, those little jaws of his can pinch hard and hurt other animals. He appears to be fine with other dogs that he cannot dominate, but we are not willing to take any chances. He is mostly house-trained, so long as you ensure he goes potty outside several times a day. Just like most humans, he doesn't like to go out in the cold and must be made to do his business outside. He is current on core vaccinations, is microchipped, and has is free from all parasites. Applicants must have a secure fenced yard, no children or other animals, a quiet environment, under the age of 70, and home more often than not Mouse won't last long when the right person finds him.
