About Heidi

This sweet little girl has been through so much in her little life. She is about 1 years old, 7 lb and her name is Heidi. Heidi had a family, a bed and her toys that she grew up with, she also had a little girl who loved her very much. Heidi loved her little girl and play with her, snuggled with her and slept with her every night. Heidi knew she was safe, until one day when the family, including her little girl, packed everything up, put her in the bathroom, closed the door and left her there. Heidi waited and waited for her little girl to come home, but lost hope as the days went by. Heidi got very hungry and started to cry. A neighbor heard her cries and saved her. The neighbor could not keep her and took her to the local shelter. Heidi was very scared in the shelter and shut down, they were about to euthanize her; we could not let that happen, so we brought her to Colorado, hoping she would find a new home here. Heidi is an awesome little girl, she is always happy, but can be timid when you first meet her. She is very sweet and is always aware of where your lap is. She is still a little on the thin side, but is eating well. Heidi would love to find a home where she can have a bed, a human and some toys. She loves other dogs, cats and kids.
